Dean’s Address at the Start of the 2024/2025 Academic Year

Dear students and esteemed colleagues,

I hope and firmly believe that we have all enjoyed a pleasant summer and are well-prepared for the academic year ahead of us. We embark on it with curiosity and optimism, facing many opportunities and challenges that we can better tackle and seize through mutual cooperation and support. Each of us contributes in our own way, whether through sharing knowledge and fostering a suitable creative environment, or by asking questions, seeking solutions, or exploring new paths.

A special welcome to the new generation of ISSBS students, the 18th cohort. Together with the faculty and staff, we will strive to create an environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity. The study period is not just a time for discovering and acquiring knowledge, but also for personal development, exploration, and strengthening the values that will accompany us throughout life.

May this academic year be full of educational inspiration, much-needed patience and perseverance, and, of course, various academic and scholarly achievements. Together, we can create many pleasant moments.
